So I took the frame back home after realizing how serious the spotwelds were. Better to pick away at it whrn I have time than to try and make numerous trips to someone else's busy shop.

Someone pointed these out to me. They are spot weld cutters. They can remove the welds one layer at a time. Perfect for what I am doing with 3 layers

And much faster. This took 5 mintues to lift 3 welds.
